Pen not working with S4

Just got the pen. Tried to connect with my samsung s4. The bluetooth works (app says that pen has 50% battery life).  Nothing happens when I check the notebook.  Nothing happens when I start writing. Not sure what is going on but it's not working. 

 

Update:

 

we have also tried with iPhone 6+ and iPad 2nd generation.  Simply not working.  The app sees the pen (tells us about battery life).  What is suppose to happen after opening the app? Nothing is happening and we have tried to check the notebooks (and tried to write on pages). nothing.

Same here with my Asus A86. Connects but not able to check or write. Firmware is up to date.

This is a bad sign for me :( 

 

Let's try the followings.

1. Re-install the app (After you updated firmware 1.02)

2. Charge the pen for 30 mins : i'm sure you already have so let's skip this one.

3. Firmware update to 1.02 : I'm sure this is done too? 

4. Format the N2 hard drive by connecting USB cable into PC.

 

If these doesn't work, we need to replace it :(

Same exact problem with HTC one. I tried all the trouble shooting steps mentioned in this thread with no luck.
