I signed into Google Document Manager but my written and audio notes are not syncing. I tried turning off Evernote sync but that didn't help. Can you please describe how I could have my written and audio notes backup to Google Drive? Thanks.
Horatio,
The Google Drive feature is more of a back up and restore feature. You have to manually back up the notebooks that you wish to have in Google.
When you press the Google Drive option from the app menu you will see your screen in 2 halves. The bottom is what is installed on your device and the top is what is stored in the cloud.
Simply select the books you want to move to Google and upload. Once you have your books in Google drive then you can download them back to any device with our app.
PLEASE NOTE: There are two options after you have done your initial upload. Those are upload if you only select the book in the bottom half. This will upload another version of the note book and give it a new name. If you select the same book in both the bottom and top screen you will have an option to overwrite. This will overwrite what is in Google drive. Depending on how you use your notebooks would determine which method to use.
If you always only want the most recent version of your book in Google then you should select overwrite. This also applies to the restore.
CAUTION: If you use multiple devices now PLEASE make sure you are up to date synching your pen to the app else there's a chance you might not have the very latest version.
Because of the great feature that this offers we want the user to be completely flexible on how notebooks are managed so this is NOT an automatic sync like the Evernote feature.
Evernote can still be used in conjunction with the GDM feature with no issue.
Hope this helps
