Richard, this is how it works in the Android app. Simply press on the word in your notes and the audio jumps to that point.
In the iOS app you do not have to listen to the whole recording, you can move the slider bar at the bottom. When you release the slider the audio plays from that point (the text changes so you can see where you are.)

I understand ..
And thanks for these remarks ... but I would like to note that the text only changes via playback - there is NO CHANGE in iOS by dragging the playback slider position. I.e. dragging the slider at the bottom through the recording does not cause the pen lines to go thick ... so there is no way to know where you are jumping to if you want to drag the slider to play from somewhere in the middle of the recording ... at best you are guessing where you want to jump to.
***** But another thing I've noticed ... if you DO let the recording just naturally play, and you let the marks get thicker during the recording ... and then you decide to re-play that section again by dragging the current playback position backwards (even all the way to the very beginning ), this will not reset those marks that have been already-thickened during the first playback ... the second playback of the recording will have no effect on the strokes.
One would expect that dragging the playback backward would reset marks to the state of the make style used before it was reached during playback.
Does my English description of what I am trying to say make sense?
thanks,
richard

I would like to see:
(1) all marks that were made during the recording to be visually different from marks made on the paper without being recorded.
(and I think this is done already)
(2) The ability to tap on the mark on the page to cause the playback slider to jump to that point.
-or at least -
(3) Sliding the playback slider forwards and backwards would update the page by highlighting the marks that are current to that location of the recording ..
BY THE WAY ... BIG THANKS FOR CHANGING THE TITLE TO INCLUDE iOS :-) :-) matches the Android thread well now ...
