[NeoLAB Convergence]

Dear forum members,

 

We wanted to thank you for using Neo smartpen and being active in our forum. There are a couple of announcements that we want to make.

First, we have updated our mobile application for both Android and iOS. Second, there's a new firmware update. Please update the firmware to its newest version.

 

 

1. Android Neo Notes (Ver 1.19.35) Release Notes : 

•  Changed loading image

•  Changed and renewed 'Notice' menu to 'News & Tip'

•  Added to show the selected language during transcribing letters (Recommended to re-install the language package)

•  Added push notification feature

•  Improved & fixed menu languages

•  Changed NoteBox background image

•  Added additional notebooks

•  Deleted user guide menu

•  Added Chinese language 

•  Fixed minor bugs

 

 

2. iOS Neo Notes (Ver 1.4) Release notes : 

•  Improved transcription engine (Recommend to reinstall language packages)

•  Added push notification feature 

•  Added web chat services (English only 6am PST - 3pm PST)

•  Added Chinese language app menu

•  Added replay option at 8 times fast speed

•  Added pop-up notification to turn on BlueTooth feature when connecting pen with BlueTooth turned off

•  Added additional notebooks

•  Changed to show actual date of writing in calendar for content transferred through offline sync

•  Changed App name into 'Neo Notes'

•  Improved NoteBox background image

•  Changed and renewed 'Notice' menu to 'News & Tip'

•  Improved & fixed menu languages

•  Fixed screen ratio showing on page list

•  Changed from showing a mini-canvas to actual writing page

•  Improved hearing recorded voice notes to Bluetooh headsets (devices)

•  Improved detecting pen's firmware server

•  Improved Japanese uni-code language

•  Fixed minor bugs 

 

 

3. Pen Firmware (ver 1.03) update

 

There are two ways to install the firmware to its newest version. The first way is updating it automatically through the mobile application. 

 

   1) Open Neo Notes app → Connect N2 → Go to Settings → Pen Information → FW Update →1.03 Check

 

 

The second way is to update the firmware manually.

 

1. Download 'N2_1.03.0137._v_' file into your PC.

2. Connect N2 to your PC by USB and copy/paste the file into the pen's hard drive.

3. Disconnect the USB cable and power on N2.

*If the LED light blinks in orange, it indicates an error. If this happens, please press the power button for 10 seconds to turn the power off and repeat the process above.
