Okay ... So, I got my pen about 10 mins ago. I have it charging.
I got the promotion cover with notepad, the paperback notepad that comes with the pen itself, and a 5 pack of spiral booklets.
Questions about switching back and forth between the multiple writing pads :
(1) I see that I am to "check" the pad with the pen on before using the pad. Is that a "one time only" event? Or do I need to do that each time I use THAT pad (as opposed to previously using some other pad) again?
(2) Is there anything special that I need to know about using all five of my pads simultaneously ?
(I was expecting some kind of instructional guide. I'm sure it's pretty easy ... I just do not want to figure this out and be wasting paper in the process.
Thanks,
Richard

There is no need to click on the cover of the books anymore. Simply start writing and your book is created in the application.
It is important to note that generally you can only have one active notebook of the same type at a time. There are exceptions to this with some of our multipacks that have different patterned books in them (such as our College ruled books.) If you write in the same type of book at the same time then you will write over your previous notes in the application because the paper patterns are identical.
To use multiple versions of the same notebook at the same time you need to "lock" your current book before you start a new one. This is a simple click in the application. Locked books are moved from the notebook view to the NoteBOX. Think of the Notebook view as your desk and the NoteBox as a shelf you put a book onto in your office.
To switch between books slimply lock the current book in the notebook view and unlock the book you want to use. If you want to use all 5 spiral books at teh sametime you will have one current book and four in NoteBox. To lock a book press on the book and the option to lock/unlock is at the top of the app.
You might want to rename your books so that when you see them in the NoteBox view you can distinguish easily between them.
We have detailed instructions on our web site at www.neosmartpen.com
The great thing about app based products is that they can change and be updated quickly. The ability to not click on the outside of the book is a recent enhancement that if in a printed document would confuse users even more........
