How to sync data from the Pen?

Hi there,

 

I have just received my double pack.

I try to start writing on the neo notebook, but it seems no data is sync to my ipad air or my android phone.

 

I drawed the "V" many times with my N2 on the notebook, but nothing happen. :wacko:

Just a question: How is the pen feeling? Is it feeling good in the hand?

It feels good, it does not weigh much.

The finishing is quite impressive.

The Center of Gravity point holds the pen a little bit back, I grab the pen on a upper point to get better feeling.

This happened with mine.

 

I resynced my pen a few times, and after a few tries it worked.

 

Try fully closing the app before you syncss, and go to a place without other bluetooth signals.

I unpacked another one.

The silver one is working!

But my black one does not work....

The black one is using firmware ver 1.01.0115 

The silver one is using firmware ver 1.00.0111

 

Info is extracted from the system.ini

Thanks for the update! and sorry for the late update. It's best to use the firmware ver 1.01.0115 (updated by the app).

Regarding the 'V' sticker and checking, since its your first notebook, you can use it directly on the notepad (with or without checking the sticker). However, it's best to check on the sticker first.

The purpose of the sticker is to prevent duplication on the same notebook.

Hey Mystic, try the following steps / methods.

 

1. Re-charging the pen (about 30 min). Sometimes during low battery, it won't work.
2. When charging, does the LED color turn into purple?
3. The initial pin number is set to '0000'.
4. If everything doesn't work, please delete and reinstall the mobile app.

I am having the same problem, except I am on the latest firmware of 1.02, Nexus 5 and Android 5.0.

The pen seems to pair correctly and I have setup a pin perfectly fine. But I can't sync, I also can't click on the manual sync button in the menu. It doesn't flash blue like all the other links.

Any suggestions?

Please update the newest iOS mobile App and update the pen firmware through the app as well.

Is there a pen firmware newer than v1.02? I updated the app and it tells me that I'm already up to date with v1.02.

The app updated alone didn't fix any issues with registering notebooks and syncing data.

I am running the latest firmware (1.02) and the latest app version (1.05.15).

 

The problem is exactly as I described above, the pairing works but I am still unable to sync.

Hey guys- instead of just updating the app to the new version, try deleting it and re-installing it. It didn't work for me with a simple update, but now offline sync and e-mailing by checking the envelope on the page both work. ONLY after I deleted the app and re-installed though.
