My passcode does not seem to work for some reason. So far, I've reset my pen twice.

(I'm 100% sure the code is correct)

EDIT

Update:

I cannot seem to assign a passcode to the pen if initially set up the pen without a passcode.

What I did:

1) Set up pen without passcode

2) Set passcode from settings

3) Close app and turn off pen

4) Power on pen and app

Result -> Prompted to enter a passcode, because I apparently don't have one.

Someone in another thread said it was defaulted to 0000. I just used the app to pair the devices and it was pretty seamless (android).

Thanks for clearing that up, is there a way to change it?

Not sure. Is there a reason you'd need to? The pen won't pair with other devices unless you hold the button down and initiate the pairing process.

Hello Panda 360,

The pass word is set to '0000' at the beginning. We are still working on the changing the pen password and update it through our newest release.

Will you integrate Touch ID & iPad in future updates?

Just realised you meant passcode for pairing, but I meant a passcode for protecting books.

I have a similar problem on my Nexus running Android 5.

When I try to pair the pen, the following dialog is shown without any way of entering the passcode:

"Bluetooth pairing request

Device

NWP-F110

Type the pairing code then press Return or Enter

Pairing grants access to your contacts and call history when connected.

Cancel       Pair"

No keyboard shows up so I'm unable to enter the passcode. No matter what I click, I'm returned to the step 2 screen in the Neonote app, where it continues to search for the pen. In my Bluetooth settings on the phone I see the pen as paired, but still have no way of modifying the pairing.

If I simply click on "Pair", the pen beeps again and continues to blink blue, but nothing else happens - the app just continues to search.

If I repeat the whole thing the app hangs at step 2 indefinitely - that is, unless I forget the pen in the phone's Bluetooth settings and then start over again.

How can I get past this step?

I also have a Nexus 5 running Android 5.

My pen won't pair with my phone. As I reach step 2 in the pairing process it seems like the pen is stuck in a loop. Nothing happening.

I tryed to pair the pen with an ipad 4. There were no problems at all. The process just took a few seconds.

So I am guessing that there is a problem with Android 5?

It looks to me like this might be the case - I just tried it with a Samsung S3 and it worked without a hitch at all.

We are receiving issues regarding Android 5.0. We are going to release the newest version that is capable with Android 5.0 next week to fix the connection issue.
